Four of these U-bolts hold an axle on….x4 U-bolts looked like this!!!

All four Bowden cables required replacements.

The outer sheath of the Bowden cables had rubbed thru, allowing water ingress and ultimately resulting in seized cables.

New axle fitment, U-bolts and mounting plates.

A splash of gear oil around the existing leaf springs, will help to slow the corrosion.
